Holiday Downtown South Core Open House Invites Thunder Bay Shoppers to Shop Local

THUNDER BAY, ON (November 17, 2025) 

Victoria’s Cupboard in partnership with The Fort William BIA is inviting Thunder Bay residents and local media to kick off the holiday
shopping
season at the Annual Downtown Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Shoppers are encouraged to explore the historic Downtown South Core (Fort William) neighbourhood, “look for the big red bows” displayed by participating businesses, and discover the unique, personalized shopping experience the district offers.

The Event: Shop Local First

Timed just ahead of Black Friday, the Holiday Downtown Open House gives shoppers a chance to get a head start on their holiday lists, check out what’s new in store, and take advantage of early promotions—all while supporting the local business community. The event highlights the opportunity for consumers to find unique items and enjoy a stress-free shopping atmosphere, avoiding the crowds and chaos of big-box shopping.

      Time: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

     Location: Participating businesses throughout Downtown South Core (Fort William) (Look for the Big Red Bows!)
